NICHOLAS ARCIERO
Nick Arciero is a 3rd generation Italian-American artist and researcher in Los Angeles. He is known for approaching art with the methodology of scientific theory. In high school, Arciero created album art for local bands in Chicago. Earning BA at DePaul University, Arciero discovered an intense interest in studying sociology, psychology, and art. At 20, Arciero joined advertising giant Leo Burnett and eventually moved to New York City to work as a graphic artist for Virgin/EMI/Capitol Music Group. Soon Arciero moved to Los Angeles, where Arciero continues to work as a strategist, consultant, artist manager, and designer for clients while practicing fine arts from his studio in Lincoln Heights.
Nicks influences are many. They include M.C. Escher, Keith Haring, Ancient Japanese culture and ink washes, Aztec and Mayan art and culture, mathematical theory, music, social interaction, technology and the cities where he’s lived.
