LED_wall2_nick-Arciero_webFrom a point a plane can come a plane. From a plane, geometric and dimensional constructs can form. From geometric and dimensional constructs, a universe can exist.  Inspired by images captured by the Hubble Telescope, “LEDs In Perspective” is a digital art and photography project that captures thousands of electrical diodes forming random patterns. Working with a 30ft. by 50ft. LED wall, the process required photographing from unique vantage points to capture the interaction between perspective, light, patterns and negative space. The large format works present abstract scenarios for viewers to ‘fall into’ and imagine the ‘what if?’ moment of walking into one these environments while simultaneously challenging each individuals perceptions of space, reality and imagination.
